Creating a tracking segment
To set up the tracking procedure, you have to create a tracking segment. Choose , and the newly created segment will appear in the segment area of the Trackline panel:
The key frame of the new segment is set to the current frame. Frames 15 to 10 will be tracked backward and frames 15 to 20 (inclusive) in the forward direction.
The segment has a yellow color, meaning that tracking is not yet done. The rugged texture reflects the selected state of the segment: the properties of this segment are now displayed in the property editor:
