Importing an overlay
To import an overlay, choose
, and in the dialog that appears select the file ...\PatchMaker\example\formula1\patch\formula1_03.png.
Since this overlay is still (contains a single frame), a message "Still
overlay loaded" will be displayed.
The loaded overlay is displayed as a green bar in the overlay line of the Trackline (the duration of a still overlay equals the duration of the composition):
The match frame marker [A] will be aligned with the current frame position. From the overlay file name you can see that it was created for frame #3. Move the match frame marker so that it is positioned accordingly:
Turn, if needed, the overlay display on by choosing the menu item or by clicking the check box in the Display Mode panel:
